Alice's Early Literacy Program

Luke and Ellen are loving being the big brother and sister.  They "read" to Alice all the time.

Pretty sure scriptures are still true even if they're upside down.  

And prayer comes after scripture time... 

All the time when I'm watching the interactions between Alice and her siblings, I can't help but think she's a lucky little girl.  :)

All kinds of levels of literacy going on around here. :)  

She came up with this while I was cooking dinner.

It's fun to see what they think of. :)

Breakfast!

I made granola this morning, and mmmmm.  Oats, wheat germ, oat bran, sesame seeds, coconut, almonds, cinnamon, brown sugar, honey...  Yum and Yum.

It starts.

Jonathan is in the after-school band at his elementary, and we went to his first concert.  I'm still a little surprised to be old enough to watch my child in a school band concert.

I must say, I was expecting a lot of squeeks and mistakes, but it was actually really impressive for a bunch of kids who have only been playing for a couple months!

Jonathan was so proud, and Seth was so proud of his big brother.

I love these guys. :)
